In 2013 the residents of Conynham Close got together and applied for funding from East Kent Housing, to develop the green in the block to a play area for their young children and to improve the safety on the stairs.

On the 20th May 2014 the workmen arrived to start the installation of the park, it took 2 days to complete and the residents love it.
