About: A project aimed at managing the areas road verges in a more sustainable way that promotes diverse plant life. The project has worked with communities to re-wild verges towards raising awareness of how important urban verges are for wildlife.
Project Objectives: To learn from partner organisations with expertise in reduced mowing regimes. To engage local communities in acting for urban biodiversity. To learn what role verge management can play in supporting urban nature to inform potential future management of amenity grassland across the city.
