The Bungaroosh is the vision some local residents have for the current Cuthbert Pub in Freshfield Road, Queens Park, which has been closed for almost 2 years. The residents want an inclusive and affordable community space that brings together the different communities that surround the Cuthbert building. They have listed the building as an Asset of Community Value by using the Community Right to bid listed in the Localism Act (2011). The project has also received a grant of £14 200 from the Cabinet Office through the Community Organisers Mobilisation Fund to support the exercise of community rights in the area. At the moment we are working in engaging the community and finding the necessary funds to bid for the building.
