Brighton and Sussex Students’ Unions came together to design and host 4 Hello Hubs over two Saturdays in mid October 2015. These Hello Hubs took place in community centres in 4 popular student residential areas in Brighton and Hove and 1 in Eastbourne.

Hello Hubs for 2015/16 were ran as a pilot, with the hope of expansion for 16/17.

Aims: For the Students’ Unions and non-student residents to welcome students moving into an area. To provide an informal, fun and positive opportunity for student and non-student residents and neighbours to meet each other. To inform student and non-student residents about the role of the Student Unions. To provide student residents with information about BHCC support and services available to them. To foster a positive start to the student’s tenancy. To encourage Sussex and Brighton students to get to know each other.
