In Know My Neighbour week (21st to the 27th May) teams of door knockers joined up with local residents to get out and meet some new people, listening to their loves, concerns and vision for their area.

St Mary Magdelene Street had a high student population with residents, student or otherwise, knowing each other well.

Top likes/loves for the residents: -Location -Services and ease of getting around -Love for Brighton and really happy to be right in the middle of it

Top Concerns: -Some noise disturbance from Lewes Rd as people walk home late at night -Some people wanted more opportunity to meet other residents as although many people knew eachother to say hello they wanted to organise something more concrete

Ideas for action: -3 or 4 households came up with the idea of a street party and the Triangle local action team pledged to support them in any way needed! We hope to get out door knocking to ask all residents what they think of the idea.
