This Year the Brunswick festival celebrates its 36th year, and this year the festival is set to be the biggest yet with live music, various stalls and even a dog show. The local community runs the local festival, for everyone local or visiting to join in. Run every August since 1981, however it was first started as a small picnic and music it has substantially grown. It is now hosted as a two day event, with ‘community acts to keep the flavor local’- now one of ‘the longest running festivals in the city of Brighton and Hove’(Brunswick Festival 2017).
