Betty Beenzu Chilonde is founder of Bulongo Incubator for Fashion and Creative Arts, and a fashion designer for ‘Black Forest’, a clothing brand under Buloz Pieces. Through the Incubator, Betty mentors and trains young designers including previous WorldSkills Zambia competitors for Abhu Dhabi in 2017 and 2018. She endeavours to transfer much needed skills to bridge the gap in the creative industry in Zambia. Betty is passionate about identifying and nurturing creative talent for it to thrive. Betty has also showcased work at several fashion weeks around the world including the Zambia Fashion week, Mozambique fashion week, Roma fashion week (Italy) and Paris fashion week (Africa fashion Reception).
