A suite of services available for families experiencing child to parent abuse. Following assessment the most appropriate service will be offered.

Catchment: Pembrokeshire

Age: 0 - 25

REFERRAL / ASSESSMENT

Referrals accepted from families with parental responsibility (phone), or from professionals (form required).

THE SERVICE

Work is with both parents and children / young people, and takes place in the home or community venues. Some group work and some one-to-one. The 1-1 service is not offered if the family is already working with child protective services. • Safety and wellbeing planning to manage situations more safely • 1-1 CPA programme which aims to address behaviour and assist the parents to manage conflict • Break4Change 10-week group programme provides support to the young person and parents to address challenges posed by the CPA, jointly facilitated with the Youth Justice Team • 1-1 Break4Change may also be available dependent on resources

Interventions generally last 3 months, but may exceed this according to need.
