TLC is a Respect accredited organisation.
CRITERIA Catchment: Manchester, Wigan, Stockport, Salford, Bury.
Age: Up to 19 years
TLC would require a lead agency to remain involved for the duration of the programme.
REFERRAL Referrals accepted from anyone in these boroughs, by form.
ASSESSMENT Conversation with the referrer for risk / suitability and then with the family / young person for assessment and agreement. Assessments cover risk, benefits to the family, and Covid assessments as appropriate.
THE SERVICE TLC uses the Respect RYPP programme, working with both the parents and young person. This can be one to one or in groups as needed. Work takes place in homes, schools and community venues. The programme uses a combination of approaches to suit the family’s needs, and lasts for 12 weeks.
The programme is funded for one year at present, from 2021.
