Stop Domestic Abuse works throughout Hampshire and Portsmouth, delivering a range of services to those affected by violence and abuse.

CRITERIA Age: Children between the age of 8 and 16. Hampshire and Portsmouth area.

REFERRAL Referrals can be made by completing a Stop Domestic Abuse referral form. https://stopdomesticabuse.uk/professionals The form should then be emailed with the header "Referral for APA group work"

THE SERVICE A six week group work programme, via Zoom, for parents / carers of children displaying challenging and potentially abusive behaviour. This structured programme is based on exercises, discussion and facilitator input; with the aim of empowering parents, reducing stress and guilt, and offering concrete strategies to put in to practice.
