REFERRAL AND ASSESSMENT Referrals are welcomed from any professionals / practitioners as well as from parents. Referrals should be made via the website contact page, or email enquiry. All participants must agree to committing to the 5-week programme (not accredited). Groups run term-time only as per a yearly schedule. The service conducts its own assessment of suitability and so supporting assessments are not required.

THE SERVICE Walk with Me UK is a non-judgmental support and guidance service that equips Parents, Carers, Guardians and Professionals with strategies and tools to practically manage challenging/difficult behaviours such as violence, controlling etc experiences which are often due or linked to school exclusions, additional needs (SEND), grooming, child exploitation, child on parent abuse etc amongst children and young people using the Non - Violent Resistance (NVR) approach. NVR is cleverly transformed from the political stand that Martin Luther King, Mahatma Gandhi and Rosa Parks had demonstrated to bring about change in society to create peace.

This method is now used within families and communities to reduce conflict, regain love, empathy and respect, to strengthen and rebuild relationships/well-being.

Work takes place online, directly with parents, carers, and guardians. The main service is group work but 1:1 emergency or advocacy support may be offered depending on the situation and need, subject to client’s request / budget.
