CRITERIA Catchment: Calderdale. Age: 10 – 14. Referrals cannot be accepted if there is ongoing domestic abuse.

REFERRAL Referrals accepted from anyone. Must go via the Early Intervention Panel (email address above) There is currently a waiting list of 6 weeks.

ASSESSMENT Joint visit or case discussion with referrer. Initial visit to discuss the programme and assess risk, using in-house risk assessment.

THE SERVICE The programme works with both young person and parent, on a one-to-one basis, meeting in home and school when available. The RESPECT RYPP programme is used. (More information about this is available in the Respect website: https://www.respect.uk.net/pages/115-rypp) Work lasts approximately 11 weeks.

EVALUATION The work is reviewed annually.
