Cavity wall and loft insulations

Cavity wall and loft insulation is the first step to energy efficiency.

As a result of this project scheme, in Barcombe with just 650 households a total of 71 measures of cavity wall and loft insulation have been installed since the beginning of the year which in addition to the savings on fuel bills will also save over 1600 tonnes of life time CO² emissions.

This accounts for a collective £10,000 pa of savings on fuel bills across the village.

Installing FREE cavity wall and loft insulation where none currently exists is expected to save the average three-bedroom semi-detached house around £300 a year on fuel bills; and with energy prices on the rise, the savings to be made year on year will also only increase.
