Situated in Fort Road, Newhaven Shakespeare Hall was built in 1973 by the Newhaven Boys Club Committee as a purpose built resource centre for the young people of Newhaven with a stated objective of:
“To help and educate young people through their leisure time activities so to develop their intellectual, social, physical and spiritual capabilities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and as members of society”
Easily reached from Peacehaven, Seaford and surrounding area by public transport (10 mins away from Newhaven railway station and 5 mins away from a bus route), the hall is also adjacent to a public car park.
