The Ashdown Gallery and Arts Studio is an independent Contemporary Art Gallery located in the heart of the Ashdown Forest, one hour from London Victoria and Brighton. The gallery is an informal and welcoming space, where you'll enjoy browsing our collection in a relaxed and inspiring atmosphere. We exhibit original paintings, sculpture and ceramics priced from £20 to around £4000, making beautiful Art accessible to a wide range of budgets. We offer a selection of artwork of a standard not often seen outside London and show the work of local, National and International artists, carefully chosen for their outstanding skills. The gallery is also an Art Studio with working artists, Art workshops for all ages and regular masterclasses for artists. Since it’s opening in 2010, the gallery has become an important part of this transition town and plays a vital role in the development of knowledge and understanding of all the visual art forms. The Ashdown Gallery has established a reputation for offering a vibrant selection of original paintings and is a friendly welcoming venue for all Art Lovers.
