Formed in 1982 the Club was established to provide children organised junior football in the village. Since 1984 the club has been involved in local league football and now, about half the teams play in the Crowborough & District Junior Football League with the other half playing in the Horsham & District Youth League. And new for this year we have entered a team into the Mid Sussex Youth & Minor Football League.
The Club's primary objective is to provide football for all. Currently, we have over 150 children in thirteen age groups from Under 6 right through to Under 18.
We are determined that all those who want the chance to play football should be able to do so. That means providing an environment that is safe and fun, but also one that offers them a chance to develop as players, and to enjoy the full range of benefits that sport offers – including being members of a team with individual responsibilities and recognition.
It has always been the philosophy of the Club to keep subscriptions to a minimum so that no child should ever be excluded for financial reasons. This means that we rely on the generosity of local businesses and individuals for support (see here).
