Who they are- Coachwerks Wholefoods is the trading name of EarthSea Workers’ Cooperative, a for profit, social enterprise that sells organic food.
What they do- They're a small, independent wholefood shop that aims to offer the most ethically sourced foods & products that are 100% vegan and mostly organic. They buy food both from local farms when they can and sell a wide range of amazing organic 'scoop and weigh' wholefood items such as: nuts, seeds, beans, pulses, grains, dried fruits, herbs and spices. The also sell refills of we buy eco-friendly shampoos, conditioners, hand-washes, washing up and laundry liquid at very low costs.
Suggestions for the Community- Located in the heart of Hollingdean, the store is easily accessible to locals seeking organic vegan food. Although closed to the public for volunteering, they do organise events that inform and empower people about sustainable, ethical food choices. They sell affordable ‘Scoop & Weigh’ wholefoods that help locals save money.
