According to the local Traffic Warden, there are three disability parking spaces painted in blue (some faded) with clear signage in the town. The high kerbs are dished at these points. New regulations are being actively enforced when people, other than permit holders, use these spaces. An immediate fine of €150, which increases if unpaid and which can lead to a court appearance with a possible sentence of two months off the road plus court costs of €400 to those not paying the immediate fine, has several people awaiting their court date!
