Background Information:
Brighton and Hove council have installed recycling points which mean people can recycle things that are not necessarily collected in their curb side collection like clothes. These bins can be used by anyone. The general materials recycled are paper, cans glass and textiles. The link below means you can find your nearest recycling point.
Contribution to Environmental Citizenship:
These larger recycling points makes recycling wore widely accessible as people do not have to travel far to recycle. Promoting recycling is contributing to environmental citizenship as it encourages people to think about their waste and reduce what goes to landfill.
