Earthy Women and kids are a charity which provides a network to help teach, develop & empower women & children learning traditional crafts, organic growing & horticulture with the aim of increasing their skills & confidence. They prioritise people on a low income with larger families, some with mental health or particular issues, isolation, poverty, making it affordable and accessible. They also train volunteers to support women with/without children. Also, cook food, have good tools and teach solid skills weaving, pottery/clay oven building, geodesic dome/shelter making. Working on community farm land. They have grown a herb garden and use this in cooking/first aid. They also teach woodland/foraging skills.
In terms of environmental citizenship, they are involved with the environment supporting nature-based skills which also protect the environment sustainably.
