Methods: Fitting good quality double glazing and doors (internal and external). External and internal wall and floor insulation. Solar hot water system. 5kW wood burning stove. A new well insulated loft extension. New energy efficient appliances (A+).

Results: 65% reduction in carbon emissions. Solar heater provided 200 days of hot water. In winter the temperature did not fall below 16 °.
