The Green Party that currently hold parliamentary constituency in Brighton Pavilion are associated with and based at the Brighton Eco-Centre. In the Green Party 2015 general election manifesto the party outlines food, farming and fisheries as one of their objective targets. The Green Party's success in the Brighton Pavilion constituency means that they can have influence on food in the local area and promote a more localised production and consumption of food.
