The LCF is a group of local people that are committed to working with the city council and others for the cities long term benefit. The forum is independent and meetings take place monthly. The members contribute their time and enthusiasm to help the groups move forward with plans of events and activities. They have contributed to the transformation of the major restoration of the Level.
CITIZENSHIP- The LCF has contributed for citizenship for the environment as it means that the greens space is more accessible and it more attractive for people to use. Green spaces are an excellent place for people to enjoy the outside and by having groups like the LCF, it means that people are more likely to use these green spaces and make the most from them. Along with this, by getting more people involved in a green space groups it makes people more aware of the impacts of green spaces by not utilising them, such as wildlife and habitats. It also makes think about the waste in these areas and makes people more aware of how to harness these areas in order to make them a safer and inviting place.
