The number of people cycling in Brighton & Hove has increased substantially over recent years. A large proportion of city workers still drive less than three miles to get to work each day, so there is great potential for increasing cycling in the city. There are also opportunities to hire under the train station but you are given two locks so you can lock up the bike in a designated area. This is a government scheme and allows citizens to become participants in reducing carbon emissions and other pollutants and make a positive impact on the environment.
