The Wood Store Brighton
Born in 1998, Brighton & Hove Recycling was the first scheme of its kind in the country they collect waste timber for reuse and recycling, keeping it as far up the waste hierarchy as possible. They collect unwanted wood so that it can be reused or made into useful things, creating opportunities for people to gain work experience and learn new skills at the same time. Striving to making volunteering with us fun and rewarding, working with a whole range of people who want to get back into work or just want to learn new skills. The Wood Store Brighton has a store in which reclaimed word that has been transformed into pieces of furniture
