There are multiple recycling bins or 'Bring points'. These are run by Brighton and Hove city council with over 70 points across Brighton and Hove.
Materials that can be recycled are: Cans, tins and aerosols (washed and empty aerosols with lids removed) Cardboard (flattened to fit in bin) Glass bottles and jars (washed with lids removed) Paper (including directories) Plastic bottles (washed and squashed) Shoes (tied together by the laces) Cartons (washed and squashed) Textiles Electrical items (broken or usable, small enough to fit into the chute)
This scheme allows large numbers of the community to have access to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way of living.
