The Repair Cafe is an organisation of trained individuals who meet at monthly events to help repaid items that would otherwise be thrown away. Although the meetings aren't always located in the St Peter's Church and North Laine ward they do encourage local repair shops in the North Laine's to get involved.

This is citizenship for the environment because it promotes repairing and reusing old things that would have otherwise been thrown away. This means that less is wasted and by it being regenerated means that it can have another use or a use hat can last much longer.
