Dr Jo Corbett of the University of Portsmouth invited Dr Neil Maxwell to join a nationally-based team [Dr Oliver Gibson (Brunel University), Dr Caroline Sunderland (Nottingham-Trent University) and Professor Neil Walsh (Bangor University)] to submit a proposal applying to co-author a BASES expert statement entitled, ‘Performance in the Heat’.

Dr Neil Maxwell is also collaborating with Dr Corbett and Dr Zoe Saynor (both from the University of Portsmouth) examining heat acclimation in individuals with cystic fibrosis.
