Working as a member of the IPC Medical Committee Professor Nick Webborn has been involved in illness and injury surveillance at Paralympic Games since 2002. This work has resulted in a number of publications but also helps drive policy change within Paralympic sport.

Professor Webborn collaborates closely with others on this work including Professor Wayne Derman of the Institute of Sport and Exercise Medicine at the University of Stellenbosch.
