Marina Garcia Hortal has been working with the team of Professor L. C. Cameron of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO) since 2016.

This collaboration is connected to Marina's PhD studies entitled "The identification of skeletal muscle markers associated with short-term detraining and retraining in a young, healthy population".
