Dr Gary Brickley is in active collaboration with Professor Ricardo dos Santos of the Federal University of Santa Catarina in Brazil.

Collaborations are focussed on endurance performance linked to critical power in cycling and swimming.

Through the collaboration SESAME has welcomed visiting lecturers and a visiting PhD student.

The next phase of the research study, for which Dr Brickley is currently awaiting funding support, will take place in Brazil beginning in March 2017.
