2 Forest Road is 1920's light industrial former garage and fabric storage warehouse, located just off Kingsland Road. It is currently being demolished, to make way for a 5 story housing development.

'The building has very little heritage or architectural value, and its demolition would be no loss' according to the Heritage Statement submitted in planning.

Rich Demolitions are carrying out the works, and following a phone call with them have stated that all the brickwork will be crushed and the steelwork melted down - "oh no don't worry, it's all being recycled"
