The college has an engineering department with a large, dedicated workshop and labs giving students access to a wide range of engineering equipment including mills and lathes, PCB production tanks, a CNC machine, CAD equipment and software, programmable logic controllers, pneumatic and hydraulic rigs and a range of electronic, robotic and mechatronic facilities.

While these facilities are only open to students, they provide workshops for civil engineering students and it seems that these resources could be utilised by the wider community.
