Web link: http://www.nienkehoogvliet.nl/portfolio/waterschatten/
Description: Studio Nienke Hoogvliet, have been working in partnership with the dutch water authories, to use the recovered raw materials from waste water, to design and make something. Around 180,000 tonnes of toilet paper is flushed down Dutch toilets each year, they have made large dining table, a set of pendant lights and a range of bowls, as a way to combat the negativity linked to the material. "Hoogvliet combined the reclaimed and cleaned paper with brass elements to show that, despite coming from the sewer, the pulp has "great value"."
