Friends of Preston Park

The history walk took place on Saturday 21st March 2015 and some 40 people joined us for a fascinating 90 minutes exploring the history of the park.

Friends of Preston Park is a local advocacy group based in this area.

Their rolls within the community: - Promote the protection and improvement of the park environment for the people who use it - To further involve the local community and to work with other bodies involved with the park.

The group holds an annual meeting in which all are welcome. The next General Meeting is yet to be scheduled but will be held in the autumn.

There are regular events held by the group, their next free family event is the Preston Open Day to be held on Saturday May 28th.
