The Gatwick Greenspace Partnership, part of Sussex Wildlife Trust, was established in 1994 and supports the local community through its environmental and educational work with local volunteer groups and schools. It has a full programme for conservation volunteers throughout the year which covers a variety of tasks and activities including heathland management, coppicing, pond clearance, wildflower planting, bird and bat box making. The project works at a number of local green spaces including Tilgate Park, Broadfield Park, Ifield Meadows and Willoughby Fields Local Nature Reserve amongst others.
