Dao Tunprasert
Dao Tunprasert is a Senior Lecturer in Podiatry at the University of Brighton. She teaches on a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate modules at the School of Health Sciences. Her main teaching and research interests are in gait analysis and musculoskeletal podiatry.
Since joining the University of Brighton in early 2015, Dao has taken up a role of module leader for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) modules, including ‘Applied Human Movement’, ‘Foundations of Podiatric Practice’, and ‘Foot and Lower Extremity Musculoskeletal Pathology and Clinical Biomechanics’. Dao has also been supervising undergraduate and postgraduate research projects, as well as supervising podiatry students during their internal clinical placements at the Leaf Hospital. Dao is currently a Peer Assisted Study Sessions (PASS) supervisor for all PASS leaders within the podiatry programmes.
In addition to her university commitments, Dao is an Eastbourne Hub Leader for MSK:UK group (a national special advisory group affiliated with the College of Podiatry). She organises musculoskeletal-related continuing professional development (CPD) sessions for local members within the South East of England.
