The Tidy Towns group in Kilmallock has an important part to play in the area, to keep the environment clean and to promote this to residents. One of their current ideas are creating a Bee Hotel along the River Loobagh to boost the population of local pollinators. They also provide a wonderful focal point to observe the activities of bees.
