Friends of Queens Park host events within the park to help raise funds for future conservation and any current enviromental issues. Events include picnic in the park on the 29th of June.

Also Dog Walkers of Queens Park work closely with Friends of queen park to organise Bark in the park in order to raise funds which can then be used to manage the park. They have a face book page which is active and administrated.
