Resturant and fisheries trade lead to significant shellfish waste / spent shells. Ground and prepared as lime mortar they can form a strong plastic bond and have fast casting and setting capability. Local Works Studio worked with us to develop a range of surface finishes, renders and fillers for cast facias. The delicate colouration, sheen and pearl attributes as a 'sparkle' to the finish of exstruded hung tiles (hung tiles being part of a local archetype).
