Composite materials from construction sites are often sent to landfill as it is too labour intensive to break away the different elements. Casting materials together is commonplace within the construction industry and often these materials have a high embodied energy and carbon. Instead of burying them can they be re-cast into another form that is more desirable and easier to re-use again?
