This AHRC funded workshop brings healthcare practitioners, makers from academic and practice fields exploring the role of craft, making and health and wellbeing into a collaborative space. The brief to explore the notion of a 'Well-Maker-Space'. A formal report from the event was published by the AHRC and findings are leading new research collaborations and initiatives in support of better understandings of the role of collaborative, community making as a formal part of healthcare provision.
This continues a stream of collaborative enquiry led by Nick Gant, Prof Fiona Hackney (Wolverhampton) and Katie Hill (Leeds) and a range of international contributors first assembled at Making Futures Conference 2017.
