This piece of land was bought by the Parish Council after a long period of leasing it from the Booker Trust. The Green is an attractive venue for picnickers and families playing games, particularly at high tide. Its stunning location overlooking the sea has made it popular for memorial benches, which now line the back half of the Green. The Parish Council has now taken the decision not to allow any more benches on the Green as it is getting cluttered. Over the last few years the shingle fom the beach has begun to invade the Green and plans are currently being made to try and solve this problem.
