Nick delivered a workshop session that sought to help designers reflect on and draw out the 'spin-out' values that occur as a result of their circular products and systems.
This unearthed diverse aspects of social capital, educational opportunities and new services that can be developed as a 'spin-off' from the central 'circular' concerns.
Through a process of conscious creative concern we retuned systems and services to seek to optimise the collective benefits of circular design and production.
The programme's curator Prof Becky Earley from UCL and The Centre for Circular Design introduces Nick's keynote alongside other contributions from Ellen MacArthur Foundation, RCA and V&A Museum.
