FOPA, has created a great scheme for the environment in the form of a ‘community compositing project’ which over the years has expanded due to greater use by the community. (FOPA 2017). As they now have access to four composing boxes that are ‘sited discreetly in the Palmeria square gardens’. This is a direct way to help conserve the area around them and look after the environment whilst socialising and interacting as a community.
