Dementia Support at The Bridge (DSATB)

DSATB logo

DSATB is about building a caring and supportive community for people affected by Dementia. The purpose of the group is to create a hub for carer-led activities in support of people living with Dementia, their carers, families and friends. The group's primary aim is to challenge the feelings of lack of confidence and isolation that are widely associated with Dementia. The group includes people with Dementia from their 40's to their 90's, family and professional carers.

Mondays 1.30pm to 3.30pm is a free-form get together to chat and enjoy a cuppa. There are table activities and games available and guest speakers are invited along. On the 2nd Monday of every month, there is a drop-out where the group visits different places for tea and cake.

Fridays 3pm to 4pm is the Silver Lining Singing Group - join in with singing, dancing, clapping or just come along to sit back and enjoy. Cost is £1 per person per session

Carers / volunteers also support each other by phone, text, email or home visits outside of the drop-in sessions.

Sessions are at: The Bridge Community Centre 361 Priory Road Hastings TN34 3NW
