The Hackspace used to provide free PAT testing and electrical repair, as well as teaching basic computing. Members could use the equipment on site to work on their own projects but unfortunately covid-19 has caused the charity to shut down. There plenty of makers in the local community but they lack a space to house their equipment and the funding to make this viable.
