F4P Jordan began with a small party of volunteer coaches from Irbid requesting to be trained up in the methodology. After experiencing the project in Israel and some coaches attending the international training workshops and cascade training in Israel, the group decided to set up their own programme.

Linking a small number of communities consisting of native Jordanians and the descendants of Palestinian refugees, the programme grew to include six communities and a series of activities throughout the year for 200 children.
