About: After a successful crowdfunding campaign, The Fruit Factory was built within an old barn in Stanmer Park in 2015. Run by the Brighton Permaculture Trust, the Fruit Factory is a hub for picking fruit that would otherwise go to waste and turning it into delicious juices, jams, chutneys and preserves.

Connection to the Biosphere and its principles: Local production, made with volunteers to combat waste and promote local food.
