The Eastside Social Centre is an older style hall, situated in Norton Terrace and originally built by and for the residents of Eastside.

The Railway Nursery at present occupies the centre every working day throughout the year up until 6pm. Because of this, the centre is not normally available to casual users, however, private evening and weekend bookings will be accepted from residents of Eastside only. The hall is licensed to take up to 75 people and is equipped with small square tables and chairs to seat this number. It includes a stage and a piano.
